Making Contributions to the Archive
If you wish to make a contribution to the archive (and we hope you do), either by putting forward a possible entry to the archive, or enquiring whether a word, phrase, or saying is Hiberno-English please do the following before you fill out the form:
• Ensure that your contribution is not already in the archive (which is updated frequently).

• Ensure that your contribution is not already in the Pending Contributions list from other users of this site. Professor Dolan has not yet added these to the archive because he does not have enough verification about the usage or meaning or both. If you recognise any of the words please let tell us what you know about the word by filling out the form below (you must fill out all fields – just put a question mark in a field for which you don’t have information). The form must be filled out for each contribution. Thank you.

• Please provide as much information about the source as possible including the meaning and the usage. A guide to the pronunciation would also be useful. If the source is oral please give any relevant information, such as the contributor’s name, age, and origin (Irish, Irish-American, Irish living in England and so on).
Please complete the following form, which will be submitted as an email for consideration. Please note that your email will not be used for any purpose other than to reply to your query, and it will not appear anywhere on the site.
